6/22/06 BTCG To Provide CISCO Consulting Services
BTCG will be providing high-end CISCO Network Optimization Services (NOS) consulting to SPAWAR to assist in optimizing their network infrastructure's performance, enhancing security, and increasing operational efficiency. BTCG CISCO certified network engineers will be onsite working closely with their Government counterparts to ensure the SPAWAR network infrastructure is not only able to meet today's new challenges but to position the SPAWAR network to support critical business applications, communication, and collaboration into the future as well. Goals of this effort are to ensure the network is highly secure, reliable, and available to external and internal users.

3/14/06 BTCG Annouces Managed Services Line of Business
BTCG-SMB is a new division within Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. that will focus on providing best-of-breed IT services and support to small and medium sized businesses. Our commercial practices has grown rapidly, and with the new Managed Services offering out of our Network Operations Center (NOC) in Annapolis, we felt the time was right to dedicate the resources and staffing necessary to support this fast expanding area of opportunity. We are dedicated to providing to our SMB partners the same quality of services and expertise that is usually only available to enterprise customers, stated Catherine Rice, BTCG CEO.

2/14/06 BTCG Awarded Expanded Role at RDECOM-AC
BTCG announced today that is was awarded a second five-year contract by the U.S. Department of the Army to provide acquisition support services for the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOM-AC), Adelphi Contracting Division. As part of this contract, BTCG will provide personnel and expertise in the areas of pre-award and post-award contract administration, financial planning, billing, Standard Procurement System support and recordkeeping. "We are very excited to be expanding our work with RDECOM-AC. We feel our expertise and attention to detail is a direct factor in the Army selecting us for this second contract," said Catherine Rice, Chief Executive Officer of BTCG.

1/12/06 Bay Technologies Awarded State of Maryland CATS Contract
Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. annouced today that it was awarded the Consulting and Technical Services (CATS) Master Contract by the State of Maryland. The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has established this Master Contract vehicle to procure IT consulting and technical services for the State of Maryland. The objective of this Master Contract is to enable State government to procure IT consulting and technical services in a timely and economical manner. Through CATS, the State will have a flexible means of obtaining information technology (IT) resources quickly, efficiently and cost effectively by issuing Task Orders (TO) specific to its needs.

11/1/05 Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. Wins Commercial IT Outsourcing Contract.
Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. (BTCG) announced today that it has been selected by EBCS Inc. (EBCS) for its IT outsourcing solutions. BTCG will be providing software development and maintenance on EBCS's automated financial and membership management system, "Express Check-In", which is used predominantly in the health club industry. In addition, BTCG will provide day-to-day IT support and help desk activities. Future tasking will include network management and line-of-business solutions hosting. "Our partnership with EBCS is a great example of BTCG's continuing diversification in its offerings and customer base. Our goal is to be a premier IT solutions provider to both Government and Commercial clients; this effort reinforces our business model and provides the company with a terrific opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities," said Catherine Rice, Chief Executive Officer of BTCG.

8/1/05 Bay Technologies Awarded Navy Contract
Bay Technologies Consulting Group today announced that it has won a five-year contract from the U.S. Department of the Navy to provide decision support services for the Naval Medical Information Management Center (NMIMC). As part of the contract, BTCG will maintain and improve the systems, applications and databases used by Navy staff at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and the Naval Military Treatment Facilities (MTF). BTCG will ensure that data within the program's databases is accurate and reliable, cleansing data when necessary and working with NMIMC to establish protocols and procedures that ensure data quality in the future. 7/16/05 Bay Technologies Awarded Army Contract
Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. (BTCG) today announced that it has won a five-year contract from the U.S. Department of the Army to provide acquisition support services for the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOM-AC), Adelphi Contracting Division. As part of this contract, BTCG will provide personnel and expertise in the areas of pre-award and post-award contract administration, financial planning, billing, Standard Procurement System support and recordkeeping. "We are very excited to be partnering with RDECOM-AC, our first Army customer. Our support efforts for RDECOM-AC provide a natural extension of the acquisition development efforts by BTCG, starting with our Acquisition Management Automation System (AMAS) through our newest web-based Electronic Procurement Information Center (EPIC). The Space and Naval Warfare Center in San Diego, CA has exercised the option for Bay Technologies Consulting Group's software support contract the company announced today.

6/5/05 Bay Technologies On Winning SeaPort Team
Bay Technologies was on the winning team led RGII that has been selected by the US Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command as one of the prime contractors to provide integrated support for aviation, surface, and undersea warfare. The contract has a potential value of $33 billion over its five-year base period and two five-year option periods. The SeaPort Rolling Admissions Multiple Award Contract was awarded on May 31, 2005. The team will compete to provide support services in 21 functional areas. BTCG's expertise in all phases of naval weapon systems acquisition and life cycle support will allow the team to propose and employ solutions to Navy systems challenges. BTCG's ability to perform strategic planning; concept development and requirements analysis; system design, engineering and integration; test and evaluation; integrated logistics support; and acquisition and life cycle management coupled with the diverse capabilities of the RGII Team give the Navy a very broad spectrum from which to choose specific technical capabilities.

9/7/04 Bay Technologies Selected to Maryland's MBE Program
Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. announced today that they have been selected to participate in the State Of Maryland's Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program. Maryland enacted the State MBE Program in 1978, which was the same year the Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program was enacted. Federal and State regulations were developed to provide additional detail. Certification as a MBE provides greater exposure for work opportunities on State projects. The names of all certified MBEs appear in the MBE Directory, a reference manual which is widely disseminated to each MDOT administration, other state departments, local governments, contractors and to the public. Contractors use the MBE Directory as a basic resource for soliciting minority participation on projects.

6/29/04 Bay Technologies Wins e-Learning Contract
Bay Technologies Consulting Group, Inc. (BTCG) has been awarded an e-learning technology contract by the U.S. Joint Forces Command in Norfolk VA, the company announced today. The Department of Defense appointed U.S. Joint Forces Command as the "transformation laboratory" of the United States military that serves to enhance the unified commanders' capabilities to implement that strategy. USJFCOM develops concepts, tests these concepts through rigorous experimentation, educates joint leaders, trains joint forces, and makes recommendations on how the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines can better integrate their warfighting capabilities. The award, made through the BTCG GSA Schedule 70 contract held by BTCG, is for an automated e-learning system to support USJFCOM with its primary mission.

4/20/04 14th Annual OSDBU Conference
Bay Technologies is a proud sponsor and exhibitor at the 14th annual OSDBU Conference taking place this year in The Show Place Arena at Upper Marlboro, MD. This conference, sponsored by the Federal government Offices of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, was originally established in 1990 as the Procurement Opportunities Conference & Exposition. The purpose of the conference is to provide networking and educational opportunities to all conference participants. In the past it has been successful in bringing small businesses, large corporations and government agencies together in one place. According to Set-Aside Alert (April 28, 2000), "this conference is becoming a must attend.....".

4/19/04 GSA Schedule 70 Awarded
Bay Technologies was awarded contract number GS-35F-0455P by the General Services Agency on their schedule 70, Information Technologies Services solicitation. The addition of the schedule 70 contract will enable Bay Technologies to work closer and respond quicker to our clients needs. 4/7/04 National Small Business Procurement Summit
Bay Technologies is proud to be a sponsor of this years NSBPS conference. Presented by the National Procurement Source (The Nation's Small Business Connection to Procurement Market Sales) in partnership with the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce, the NSBPS is dedicated to helping small businesses gain a closer connection with federal agencies and 2nd tier contractors, learn the ins and outs of research and buyer relationship development, making a strong business case, and developing a strong brand within the federal marketplace. The conference also provides an update on current federal programs and trends so that small businesses may maximize their participation in the federal procurement arena.

12/23/03 8(a) Status Awarded
Bay Technologies was awarded submission to the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program. Bay Technologies will benefit from participation in this program by the following:

  • Eligible to receive sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $3 million for goods and services.
  • Federal acquisition policies encourage Federal agencies to award a certain percentage of their contracts to SDBs. To speed up the award process, the SBA has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with 25 Federal agencies allowing them to contract directly with certified 8(a) firms.
  • Recent changes permit 8(a) firms to form joint ventures and teams to bid on contracts. This enhances the ability of 8(a) firms to perform larger prime contracts and overcome the effects of contract bundling, the combining of two or more contracts together into one large contract.
